Together with the community of Antsokia Valley, World Vision has transformed the site of Ethiopia’s worst famine into a fertile, drought-proof oasis. Many Australians can still remember the TV images of widespread famine in Ethiopia in the mid-1980s, brought on by severe drought. Back then, thousands of people died of starvation in Antsokia Valley.
