University of Michigan - A new renewable energy concept
Posted by admin on May 2, 2009
A device called VIVACE developed at the University of Michigan draws power out of slow water currents to produce clean electricity. It imitates the swim strategy of a school of fish.

Wow “Hello my crafy friends” lol. Very funny episode! LOL
what?
what?
Ephedra and …
Ephedra and Ephedrine diet pills are scientifically proven to melt fat and raise metabolism without diet or exercise.
Xenadrine RFA-1, Metabolife 356, Hydroxycut, Metabolift, and more.
HEAT SCA Stack will give you the strong stimulant effect of pharmaceutical grade diets. Contains also Cayenne Pepper, the secret ingredient Beyonce used for her role in “Dreamgirls.” It is all natural and will not give you the side effects of the pharmaceutical ones. Click on my name above.
great ! now dooms …
great ! now dooms day will come much more later.
“renewable energy” …
“renewable energy” is a misnomer
aside from that, and reality in general, how is this ‘energy’ to be transferred?
I think the best is …
I think the best is to put a wind farm in the current liberal congress
Looks like a good …
Looks like a good idea until Exxon wacks
the inventor, or buys the patent..
Pfft. Good …
Pfft. Good thinking, but it will probably murder a snail-darter, or whatever, and that will be that.
You go dude! Great …
You go dude! Great thinking. So where is the converter?
I was thinking more …
I was thinking more along the lines of an electric eel farm
They probably are …
They probably are coils much like wind turbines use to generate electricity except as the elements go up and down instead of spinning.
the saving is …
the saving is probably more than the cost, but so are wind farms, solar panels, and other renewable energy sources. the real question is can it be cheap than fossil fuel.
LOL, you’ll have to …
LOL, you’ll have to go back and read to get the full story (which is long, sad, and pathetic for everyone involved), but I was being sarcastic. I know it doesn’t translate well, but you should just realize that nobody would seriously say “What was I thinking expressing an original thought?”.
The problem started because I questioned this things capabilities, and then a troll jumped in and said I was stupid for thinking it could have a problem.
Simple misunderstanding though, no biggy ^.^
colleges never lie? …
colleges never lie? have u been to one lately? political correctness comes to mind along with only marxist thought allowed. but this device could be promising but moving and armature up and down doesn’t mean a thing. what matters is the amount of work and/or force it can produce. my guess is the government will spend millions to find out it can only power a few hundred iPods make college students feel they r saving the world! lmao! PS….i got a bridge to sell you
i was actually …
i was actually thinking about adding that but i didnt want to sound stupid if the rights of this invention didnt belong to the u.s government. ya know?
Yup, just like …
Yup, just like solar power. It’s surely going to take off just as well, too. Once again I’ll never question anything that came from a college, because colleges never lie and the professor would clearly have said something. What was I thinking expressing an original thought?
the proffesor that …
the proffesor that invented the concept wouldn’t have made such a big deal about the invention if it cost more to run it than what you save from running it. it doesn’t make sense and it wouldnt get any attention if there was that possibility.
no dude Obama’s …
no dude Obama’s government is gonna give money to these people now since he is going to invest in renewable enegery
I am an engineer …
I am an engineer and I know exact what he is talking about. The concept does sound feasible, but making it work in real life is another thing.
im surprised our …
im surprised our government didnt kill these people
you can question …
you can question inventions as long as you have any idea what your talking about. If not then don’t act like albert einstein and just chill.
I thought those are …
I thought those are spring too, but after thinking about it a little bit, it’s probably just some coil to generate electricity.
@ Shadapaga, universities are not product driven. Sometimes they invent stuff just because it’s cool.
I could be wrong, …
I could be wrong, but I don’t think it has anything to do with resonance. The upstream flow is uniform. The frequency depends on the vortices formation.

This is proof that Congress knows about zero-point energy. They’ve been briefed by the experts in this field, but Bush/Cheney was running the show then. If this subject gets ignored NOW with Obama & the Dems “in charge” then the ones really in charge (the NWO) will continue their stranglehold on us all.
