Yesterday I woke up …
Yesterday I woke up and saw my dog lay two turds on my carpet in 2 minutes. If I hadn’t shot it before I went to sleep when I woke up there would be a pile of in my room the size of an SUV. My 2 minutes of observation provide enough scientific evidence to build an accurate trend curve. The science is settled, I will not debate it anymore. Anyone who disagrees with my reasoning is a sellout and a menace to my carpet, and is obviously receiving money from my neighbor who hates me.

I find it a little odd that this advertisement is condemning the heads of alternative energy companies/etc. It says that they’re “lining their pockets” and basically cashing in on global warming.
Whether or not it’s true (global warming) it’s brilliant business strategy, and there’s nothing wrong with being an opportunist. There has been a growth in public demand, and they took advantage of it, making money and providing new technology.

Whether or not using gasoline and coal causes global warming (by the way, look up greenhouse gasses) there is no dispute that we’ll have to switch to alternative energies relatively quickly. At today’s consumption rates (and factoring in global growth) we’re out of gasoline in about 50-70 years. Natural gas is a bit longer (I think it’s around 100 years or so) but they are finite resources, so eventually we’ll have to switch.
