~~What can we do to make the community i live in 'Go Green' ?~~?

Posted by admin on May 29, 2009

I know by picking up trash and use resuable bags but i want to know is there any cool ways to make a home / Community Go Green in a simple method?

One simple but effective way to go green is to Conserve Water.
Presently many parts of the world are facing fresh water shortages, especially Southern California. Water Conservation will not only help these areas face the challenge of water shortage but also keep other places from facing a similar situation.
Small things like turn off the tap when not in use, take shorter showers, avoid car washes etc can save gallons of water per day and make a big difference to the planet. Here are some water saving tips: http://www.bewaterwise.com/tips01.html
Spread the word within your community and encourage evryone to save water at home, schools, office, parks etc. Together you can make a big difference.

RomeoMike:

The Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia made their population go green and look where it got them.

Leave community organizing to the professionals like ACORN. Little people often get hurt went they don't understand the workings of the system.
