What job fits me best in todays world?

Posted by admin on May 11, 2010

Hello,

Im in my second year of college and i still cannot determine what job suits me so im throwing this out to all of you for ideas.

My interests are: Rising and modern technologies, Earth Science and global warming, CURRENT EVENTS w/ govt. and mostly the current and happening events in the world.

I notice people my age don’t care about the gas crisis and the rising tides from Global warming… idk why i do but i feel it puts me in a better position being that way.

So really, i enjoy current events and the study of Earth and how to go green, new tech. and cutting govt. inventions.

I suck at math, HARD! but im good at history and my personal/comm. skills are unmatched at my age. I carry about a 2.5gpa at the moment

Any suggestions?

Perhaps Environmental Law?

Why not combine all of your interests into one unreal career…perhaps something in research and development of green tech for the home?

Better solar systems that homeowners can install and manage on their own, more efficient and cost-effective wind-power systems for residential use, or maybe you could put your talents to use in the alternative auto industry and help to develop better fuel cells for cars. Electric cars sound great, but those batteries aren’t going to last forever - we need better and stronger, and also the means to deal with the batteries when they have outlived their usefulness (possible recycling?)

Sounds like anything involving earth science- geology, environmental, water etc… you should probably become a scientist in those types of fields and lobby for the government- you don’t need much math knowledge, but probably some chemistry.
