Oil drilling - God wills it!

Posted by admin on May 3, 2009

The level of debate in Florida House sometimes fails to raise to the level of a, non-drive-time AM talk-radio call-in show. Green ideas for community service club?

Posted by admin on May 3, 2009

I'm the president of a community service club.
We're looking for new ideas for helping our school and community go green.
We have recycle cans all over campus and in classrooms. We have also planted trees in our community.
Do you have any ideas for us?

For a fundraiser find a nice reusable water bottle that you can sell to people for a good price.
Ask the school to turn of half or a quarter of the lights in the school were they are not needed.
Have people sign a petition to go green, hand out pamphlets that mention all the ways to go green.
Ask your school to get more organic foods in your lunchroom, or foods that produce a lesser carbon footprint.
Have an environmental meeting, and have food. (everybody comes where there is food)
